Inside the Photo #1

Today I’m having a chat with Mike Hindle. I’ve been lucky enough to discover his amazing works on Vero and I can tell you I’m always happy to see any of his images popping up in my feed.

Hi, my name’s Mike Hindle. I’m an iPhone photographer and graphic designer from Derby in the UK. I love photography, travelling and overcast, moody days.

If you have a look at Mike’s pages, you will immerse in amazing, deep architectural images. The black and white conversion, with profound blacks and shadows, is an incredible visual experience.

This image is a clear example of what I mean.

The image I’ve chosen is from my recent Dark Mode series. It was taken at Fondazione Prada in Milan. The photo represents simplicity and focuses on the smaller details. It’s a tight angle that removed most of the top of the building from view, allowing for the bottom lines and angles to form an abstract. Emotionally, I’m trying to express a certain level of calm and tranquillity.

I highly recommend you check Mike’s socials to enjoy more of his amazing works.
