Inside the Photo #2

This month’s appointment with Inside the Photo is a nice talk with my friend Sayed. A nice pal I’ve been following for quite some time now on many different platforms.

Hi, I’m Sayed Abdullah El Huseini, from Malaysia. I’m photographer, my genre is portraiture. The reason I started my full time career as a photographer about 10 years ago, is I love to meet, socialise with people and appreciate any forms of beauty around me.

As he says in his introduction, he’s a portrait photographer. And, I admit, I’m a bit biased because it’s also my preferred genre of photography.
I’ve always loved his pictures: if you take a close and careful look at them, you can spot a feeling in the eye of his models. There’s always an emotion in the way he captures people.

No exception for the one he chose to comment with us.

This image was taken at his gallery when he asked me to photograph him in my own style. It was an advantage for me because I’ve known him for 13 years and he also gave me his best pose for this image. The thing is, when I’m working with artists, painters or celebrities, I always keep talking with them. Communication is a must. Be free, make them happy, and let their expression go easily. This image tells us that Art has no limitations.

Sayed was also very kind and shared some additional information about this amazing artist.

S. Amin was born in 1954 in Malaysia. He is a well-known artist and a song writer. He obtained Malaysian Book of Records for doodling a 1km long pen and ink drawing on canvas at National Art Gallery Malaysia. He Graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Amin received an Award for Artist of Various Resources through a Contemporary exhibition in Singapore. He joined over 20 art exhibitions in Subang, Shah Alam, Singapore, Jakarta and four solo exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Singapore. While marking his name in art field, he is also known for his famous song writing masterpieces for famous Malaysian singers including Jamal Abdillah, Alleycats, Fauziah Latif, Salem and many more.

I definitely suggest you have a look at all the other pictures he captured over time. I’m sure you will enjoy the journey through his art.
