Talking with Thiago Castor
Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday! It’s again that time of the month when I share with you the work of incredible artists.
Today’s Inside the photo shows an amazing picture from my friend Thiago, a very talented wedding photographer.
Hey there, I’m Thiago Castor, hailing from the vibrant country of Brazil, but living in the Nordic country of Sweden. I’m happily married and blessed with an adorable son who brings joy to every day. Professionally, I’m a photographer, specializing mainly in capturing the magic of weddings. It’s not just a job for me; it’s an absolute passion. Photography is woven into the very fabric of my life, serving as both a source of income and a powerful stimulus for my creative mind. It’s the lens through which I see the world, and I couldn’t imagine my life without it.
Now, let me tell you this: when you take a look at Thiago’s images, be they a portrait like the one shown below or a wedding reportage, you can immediately feel the joy and the intensity pervading the atmosphere where the shot is taken. The colours, the timing when capturing a pose, a smile an expression: everything just tells a story of happiness.

This shot holds a special place in my heart, and let me tell you why. When the pandemic hit, work became scarce, and there were moments when I feared that photography, something I’m truly passionate about, might fade away from my life. That’s when my wife and I decided to keep our minds and creativity alive by practicing photography at home.To stay sane during those uncertain times, we chose themes, and my lovely Swedish wife, as always, graciously became my model for a Geisha-inspired photo session. So, when I gaze at this photo, it not only fills me with happiness because of the results but also takes me back to a time of uncertainty, reminding me of a joyful moment that helped us keep our spirits high.
I’ve been following Thiago for a long time now, and I have to say I pretty much liked all of the images he shared on this journey.
