End of 2025: Thoughts, Thanks, and New Goals

Good morning, my dear friends, and happy last Tuesday of this 2025. This year is coming to an end. First of all I want to thank you deeply for the warmth and the support you gave me during all these months, both in the newsletter and on my blog.

Writing is always a pleasure, even if it was only for myself.

But it’s thanks to you, who read and share this space with me, that everything I bring here stops being just a personal exercise and becomes something truly worth sharing.

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I don’t really like doing a proper “end-of-year balance”. To be honest, I never liked it. I prefer to focus on what I can do in the new year. And for sure what I want is to photograph a lot, as much as possible, because this is what I truly enjoy and where I love to put my time.

Writing is also an important part for me, but if I have to weigh the two things, photography stays the most important one. So I’ll try to focus on creating. On thinking new sets, and on working with the many people I had the pleasure to collaborate with. The goal is to find new ideas and bring forward my projects — that have been a bit stuck lately.

This doesn’t mean I will stop writing: it simply means there won’t be big changes in the format of my publications. I’ll still try to involve you as much as possible with my Inside the Photo section. I’ll keep showing you Unpublished photos from my sets and, of course, I’ll continue the collaboration with Tamara on My Travel Diary Chronicles. That window on the world through her eyes, her words and her travels is something wonderful, and I want to keep going in that direction with her.

At the same time, when time allows, I’ll try to write my own thoughts or maybe tell you about some particular set, as already happened during this year.

So no, there won’t be big revolutions in this newsletter.

Now, I don’t want to make it too long, because we’re at the end of the year and everyone wants to spends more time with their families.

I’ll close it here, briefly, thanking you once again and wishing you a 2026 full of energy, productivity, joy, success, and many opportunities to catch.

Happy New Year to all of you, and see you next week.

Thank you so much.

Take care and talk soon!
