Good morning, my dear friends. Welcome again, even on this last Tuesday of September.
It’s nice to see you here today. And I want to say thank you — really, from the heart — for your love and for always reading my articles. I don’t say this just because. It means a lot to me.
It was one of those nights you don’t plan.
In the beginning, as I told you before, I wasn’t a portrait photographer. I was searching. I didn’t know what kind of photography I really loved. And since I didn’t have models to work with — not at that time — I started walking around, near my home.
I tried landscapes. A bit of street. Anything that could help me find my way.
After a while, I realised I became really interested in night photos. The starry sky. The dark landscapes. So, I started driving around, especially near the lakes close to where I live. I would go out at night, looking for special places, special lights — things that looked different after dark. Things that surprised me.
I remember one evening, in particular. It was at a lake just ten minutes from my house.
The sky was covered — not completely, but with a thin layer of low clouds. When I arrived, I set up the tripod and my camera.
And then I saw it.
All the lights from the towns, from the plain below, were reflecting on the clouds. Not in a clean way. Not all the same. Some yellow, some white, some stronger, some weak. And together, they created this mix of colors — soft, strange, almost not real.
For a moment, I just stopped. I didn’t expect this. I’d never seen anything like this before. And never again after. That’s why it stayed with me.
It was beautiful. Really beautiful.
Luckily, I took a few photos before the wind came and moved the clouds away. Then, the sky opened, and the stars appeared.
I’m writing this article to tell you about that night. And to share some pictures — so you can see a little of what I saw.
And if you think that, on top of this light, there was no one around… it was winter, very cold, and already so late… then you can imagine the silence.
It was deep. Almost scary. You could only hear small sounds — like an animal moving in the reeds, or in the grass nearby.
Nothing else. Just silence.
And then — I forgot to say — it was a full moon night.
So, while the city lights were reflecting from below, the moon was shining from above. Its light was soft, white, calm. And it mixed with everything — the clouds, the reflections, the water.
It felt… surreal.
Anyway, I hope you like these photos.
And again, thank you. For being here. For reading my words every week. It means more than you know.
Have a good start to October.

Take care and talk soon!
